You'll be glad to know that my inspiration is slowly but surely creeping back...so maybe expect more drawings? Maybe not...whatever you watch me for I suppose...

First official art assignment today *sigh*...I don't think I was ever cut out for art LESSONS. I mean, to be oh-so-modest, I know I can draw. But not the same thing over and over again. That's not how it works for me. I will make one good thing and that will be it for a while. Sometimes I can do a number of good things over a few days...but this assignment is demanding 9 weeks of undivided art skill and attention...which I feel I just can't give. So...maybe you shouldn't expect more stuff from me on here right now...this project will probably be sucking me dry like some sort of Inspiration-sucking vampire.
(If you can think of a better name for this daylight robbery, then tell me).

I've decided that I need to stop drawing skeletons, Death and the like and just have a change for a bit. I mean...lately it's been ALL I draw, not only because it's a good source of inspiration, but because I'm so used to drawing bones etc...

There are a few things I need to focus on:
That dreaded assignment
The Challenge

How to draw:
People
Landscapes/backgrounds
Some more animals
Technical, very accurate stuff. E.g: Computers, speakers, TV's...always been crap at painfully symmetrical and neat stuff.

You will probably have realised by now that this has nothing to do with the journal title. Or the journal title has nothing to do with this entry. What can I say? I love the title of that book by D. Adams...
